Sunday morning.

Isabel has not been eating because she's developed a fear of the scary sound her bowl makes. This is no stranger than my living indoors due to a fear of pollen. Spike is asleep in his little bed, mine, dreaming of allergy pills and Leif. Perhaps I should bring down his vet prescribed Vicodin.

I have been forced to change bowls.

  1. Leave the Vicodin where it is. I just figure 16 year old dogs do what they're supposed to; a little R.E.M. a lot of sleep, eat and poop.

    1. It's actually to control spastic coughing resulting from a collapsed trachea and made lots worse by allergies. It's not to put him in a Rush Limbaugh reverie.

  2. My dog is a nervous eater and refuses to eat near his bowl, instead preferring to carry it up onto our bed or onto the bathroom rug...

    1. What kind of doggy? So sorry I didn't respond to your email! I was saving it as something fun to do.

    2. He's a little white terrier mix of some sort. A rescue with lots of emotional baggage, but finally making progress. No worries, I'm still around, so just let me know :)
